A holiday to Marrakech is not complete until you have ridden on a camel! Join us on a half day camel trek through the Palm Grove of the ancient Caravaners where you will experience beautiful landscapes, desert terrain, Berber villages where you’ll stop for tea, and overall just an exhilarating, memorable adventure!
Camels are fascinating animals, with an unusual gait and generally docile temperament. The ride through the Palmeraie provides an insight into local life with lots of really fun photo opportunities.
Included in the price is the pick up transfer from your hotel in Marrakech and return transfer at the end of the camel excursion, an experienced camel guide to accompany the trek, tea at one of the Berber homes you’ll pass along the route, and a “cheich” to wrap around your head to protect from the sun. This is a fun half day made even better shared with friends or family!

Located in the north-east corner of the city, La Palmeraie is a true oasis with a hundred thousand trees providing shade from the hot African sun. Visit the souq and mix with the local Marrakeshi as you shop for the fresh produce for your meal; the meat and vegetables, herbs and flavorings that form the basis of Moroccan cuisine. This is the perfect opportunity to try out your new language skills! Spices are used extensively in Moroccan cookery and have been imported here for thousands of years.
